Union County is home to seven registered sex offenders in Q1

There was the same number of registered sex offenders living in Union County in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the previous quarter, according to the Oregon Sex Offender Registry.

There were seven sex offenders registered in Union County in the first quarter of 2023.

The Registry shows 33-year-old Tye G Pieper was the youngest sex offender living in Union County in the first quarter of 2023.

Justin Emeron Moore was the oldest at 49-years-old.

Oregon has the highest population-adjusted rate of sex offenders - about 749 per 100,000 people.

In 2020, about 11,487 unique victims of child abuse were reported in Oregon, but studies of victims have shown less than 30% of sex crimes are reported to law enforcement.
