The Pendleton Municipal Court will offer Marriage Ceremony Services at City Hall, 501 SW Emigrant Ave.
The first available date will be Valentine's Day, February 14, 2023 starting 9:30 a.m.
A wedding service will be provided at no charge, but prospective wedding planners need to bring their licensing documents. Marriage Licenses are issued through Umatilla County, and there is a three-day waiting period from the day the license is purchased until it can be used.
Wedding planners are also encouraged to bring their own witnesses and photographer.
Interested parties should contact the court clerk for scheduling. The marriage ceremony will be conducted by Presiding Judge Blaine Clooten in the Municipal Courtroom.
If this event is popular, the Municipal Court will consider adding more dates to perform marriage ceremonies as a public service.
