City of Ontario issued the following announcement on June 2.
The 2022 general election application filing period is now open. At the 2022 General Election in November, the positions of three Councilors and the Mayor will appear on the ballot. The filing period for interested candidates begins on June 1, 2022 and closes at 5:00 p.m. on August 19, 2022. If you are interested in running for Mayor or City Council, please pick up the elections packet beginning June 1, 2022, from Tori Barnett, MMC, City Recorder/Elections Official, 444 SW 4th Street, Ontario, Oregon, 97914. Packets can also be mailed if requested. For more information, please visit:
