Good people doing good things for a great community!
Here's some information sent to us by Pastor Terry Haight regarding this past weekend's "I LOVE MY CITY" event.
"We had a great weekend; both Saturday and Sunday. There were over 400 volunteers cleaning the Downtown, Funland Park (wiping down), Butte Park, Oxbow Trail, railroad tracks, cleaning neighborhood behind Pizza Hut, Hermiston Community Center area on 395 to name a few. We also served four laundromats with Laundry Love, blessing people with free washing and drying as well as two free car washes.
The Sunday event was monumental. There were well over 600 in attendance at the EOTEC with a blended service made up of 10 churches. There are now officially 13 ILMC churches. It was such a good atmosphere from start to finish.
