Harney County - OR issued the following announcement on Apr. 19.
Ballots for Oregon's Primary Election will be in the mail April 27th. Oregon is a Closed Primary State, so you have to be registered with one of the two major parties to vote in their primary election. If you are registered as a nonaffiliated voter, or with a minor party, your ballot will only contain the nonpartisan races races. The last day to update your political party is April 26th. Check your registration or update at 
www.oregonvotes.gov by April 26th!
